When you finish your training as a nurse assistant, it is very important that you take the certification exam so that it can be easy for you to get a job. Most of the employers will want to know if you are certified so that they can employ you. This exam consists of the things that you have learned when you were taking the course and it has two sections; the skills and written section. The CNA certification is different in almost all states. You will find they have a different way of giving their certificates. You will notice this mostly in the written section where different states have different numbers of multiple questions. The way they format the exam is also different. You will find one state is asking a set of questions in the written section that you will not find in the other state. The practicals are also and how they award marks.

CNA certification

You will find that the requirements that are needed by different states are different. For one to get the certificate, you have to have some requirements when you are applying for nurse aide certification. These requirements are different in different states. The requirements that may differ include age, activation of the CNA certification, criminal record and fitness. That is why you should look at what your state requires when you are applying for the certification.

Fingerprints

The fingerprints are very important in the process of getting your certification. You can get the fingerprints taken in a place state or sheriff’s department in your state. This will also depend with the state that you are in. You may be required to take your finger prints before they offer you your certification in one state and other state after your exam. That is why you have to inquire from them when they will need the fingerprints, so that you can have them just incase.
